Hot Cheese Puffs

Makes about 30 puffs.

one-half pound American cheese, grated.
one-half cup butter or margarine
1 cup sifted flour
one-eighth teaspoon salt
one-fourth teaspoon paprika

Method:

  1. Cream the butter or margarine.  Mix in the grated cheese.
  2. Sift flour, salt and paprika together.  Mix with the cheese mixture. Mix well.
  3. Shape into balls the size of marbles.
  4. Bake in a pre-heated moderate oven. 350 degrees F. , for eight to ten minutes.  (Puffs should be  golden brown and baked  through.)
