Cranberry Bread

 

Cranberry Bread

2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar

Add:
1 beaten egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted in
2 tablespoons hot water
1/2 cup orange juice

Add:
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup whole cranberries (raw or uncooked)
Grated rind of 1 orange

Pour into greased loaf tin and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. 
Cool and wrap. 
Place in refrigerator for over a day.  
Slice thin and serve.
