Fae's Sour Cream Pecan Coffee Cake

 

Coffee Cake

BATTER
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs (one at a time)
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream (commercial)
1 teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans

METHOD
Pour 1/2 of the batter in a 9  by 13 inch pan.  Pour 1/2 of topping on top.  Add the remaining natter and cover with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 55 minutes. Check periodically.
